Women's MInistries

First Baptist Church participates in the Woman's Missionary Union.

Women on Mission is a missions organization for women (ages 18 and up) through which women pray for and give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, and participate in the work of the church and the denomination.

The purpose of all Women on Mission activities is that every person
have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.

Here at First Baptist, we have two adult groups of WMU.

The Rosa Strickland Bible Study

The Rosa Strickland Bible Study is a smaller women's mission group for older women. They participate in missions throughout the community and the church. They have donated money to families in need or to the church to sponsor those going on mission trips. In the past, they have made bags  and donated money for bicycles for foreign students at Georgia Southern University.

The Rosa Strickland Bible Study is available for you to join. They meet every Tuesday after the 4th Sunday at 1:30 pm except for June, July, and August. Contact Joyce DuBois for more info @ 653-3665
