A Christian is a disciple of Christ. Jesus says in the gospel account of Mark, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it" (Mark 8:34, 35).
The purpose of the small group is to establish within each member the foundations of discipleship, continually growing in knowledge and joy for our Lord Jesus Christ, while also fostering an environment of fellowship, encouragement, healing, discipline, and prayer. As Paul says in his sermon to the Hebrews, "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near" (Hebrews 10:23, 24).
So, come, join us, as we worship and bring honor and glory to our Lord!
